*Revised Rule of 8 ( actually 7 now)

Well so far I must say that 0.0 is exciting. IF it can keep me going till 1:30 AM Saturday morning I must say that hunting pirates is rather intoxicating.

Some interesting aspects of the game to be sure in 0.0

Recapping my Law of 8 that I published on the GAX network:

1) Grinding faction for jump clones is a waste, simply train the skill and then find a station and jump, viola a J.C. will be created.
2) Fitting you ship in 0.0 is a pain in the ass when your gear is locked inside giant and huge containers…just do not do it. Only way to get gear out afterwards is to launch a hauler, move cargo into hauler, open cargo can then move it back to the station…simply put this mechanic sucks ass.
3) Moving between ships in 0.0 is a piece of cake, launch the ship you want, right click->board ship.
4) Rats in 0.0 drop good loot and lots of it, try to avoid being a junk collector as it leads to the next point.
5) Mining in 0.0 is a even bigger PITA with the best refiner you lose 75% have a way to transport Ore to hi sec or Low sec so you can refine it….just know this ahead of time.
6) Detach the local widow and never close it
7) When in doubt refer to rule 7

With only minor adjustments I think they are still quite good.

For hauling when in 0.0 do not forget to make sure you fill your mid slots… BS rats over 600K can really whack you very hard…nothing like losing 30km3 of roids to a bad BS spawn with no time to warp out.
